To describe myself in more detail. I am ---- years
old!!! Nowadays I prefer to forget that bit, and concentrate on the more cheerful bits!!! I am about 5ft 4" in
height, fairish hair, pale complexion, blue eyes. I have worked in various jobs: engineering, office, public sector,
fundraiser for a major charity, where I raised many thousands of pounds for specifically disabled adults and children.
I found this job particularly rewarding, though very hard work, but worth it at the end of the year when I could see
in black and white just exactly how much I had raised, and how the people would benefit!
I grew up in a small Northamptonshire village in England.
It was idylic in the early days, before the land was sold off for development, as is the case in many rural areas nowadays.
I lived in a country cottage in a country lane. Yes it was idylic, but not wholey so!! Country living has its
drawbacks too! I remember the 'bird scarers' as they were known. They were electrical devices set to sound as
though a gun was firing at about 4 or 5 am on a summers morn! These were intended to scare off the birds from feeding
on the corn growing in the fields! Personally I think the birds just got used to the noise and ignored it!!
